And if you’re shooting a Gen3 or Gen4 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, or 35, this Apex Tactical kit is one of the cleanest upgrades you can make without a gunsmith. Straight drop-in. No filing, no fitting, no swearing in your workshop.
Apex Tactical builds this kit around their polymer Action Enhancement Trigger with a Gen3 trigger bar, then pairs it with their Ultimate Safety Plunger and Performance Connector. The whole thing goes in as a set. You’ll shave about a pound off your pull weight. More importantly, you get a shorter pre-travel, less overall travel, and a reset that’s tight and positive. The break is crisp—not that mushy wall you get from a stock trigger. The center-mounted pivoting safety stays true to factory safety specs, so you’re not losing anything on the reliability side.
This particular one is the Slim Purple version. It’s the same internals, same performance, just with a little color for the build. The trigger bar finish may come in matte nickel or bright nickel depending on the batch—both work fine, both look good.
Important: this kit does not fit 10mm, .45 ACP, or .45 GAP Glocks. Also no good for Gen5 models. If you’re running a Gen5, you’ll need a different setup. For Gen3 and Gen4 shooters in standard 9mm, .40 S&W, or .357 Sig, you’re good to go.
