This isn’t a drop-in that needs hand-fitting or stoning. Apex machines the hammer and sear together so the engagement surfaces are already matched. You get a clean single-action break—crisp, consistent, no creep—and a double-action pull that’s smooth, stack-free, and predictable. Swap out the springs to dial it in for carry or competition. The kit comes with two mainsprings: a Duty/Carry and a Competition, plus a reduced power firing pin spring. Everything’s black, exposed hammer design, and includes two replacement hammer pins.
