This Apex Tactical Flat-Faced Forward Set Trigger Kit is a solid upgrade for your S&W M&P M2.0, including the Compact. It ditches the factory hinged trigger for a machined aluminum flat-face unit with a forward-set sear. The result? A cleaner break, less creep, and a reset that’s short and positive. You’ll feel the difference, plain and simple.
Apex Tactical engineered this kit to cut pre-travel and over-travel by roughly 40%, and you can drop pull weight up to 2 pounds depending on which springs you run—typical results land around 4 or 6 pounds. The center-mounted pivoting safety keeps factory safety standards intact, so it’s still duty-serious. While it’s a drop-in design, we recommend having a gunsmith or armorer handle the install to get the most out of it. It’s not compatible with M&P Shield, Bodyguard, or M&P22 models.
